THE IDEA BEHIND THE DESIGN
We started this project with a mission to design the first generation of high performance diesel outboards, our keywords were durability, endurance and performance. These words are now embedded within this product. The patented technology has enabled us to design a robust drive unit that will effectively transfer high torque from diesel engines.
Combined with a modular layout and proven diesel technology, this ensures for an extremely robust product. From decades of experience within diesel engines and transmission the team has aimed for quality and state-of-the-art design. This, together with leading Swedish manufacturers from the Marine, Automotive and Aeronautical industry, has given us a winning concept.

EACH PART HAS ITS PLACE
The diesel engine is mounted horizontally, the power is then transferred to the gearbox through a primary belt. From the gearbox goes another belt that transfers the power to the propeller shaft.
By using a modular design the OXE has been built up with proven conventional technology.
All parts are easy to access and can be changed without having to disassemble the whole unit. Each part has its place.
The engine is mounted on the adapter plate with four robust anti-vibration mountings to allow the unit to endure punishing commercial use and to be easy to replace.
