OXE Diesel 300 hp engine

The OXE300 is a Bi turbo configuration that provides its full 680NM of torque at the crankshaft already at 1750rpm, at 1000rpm the engine provides over 500NM at the crankshaft. These are torque numbers that were previously unheard of in the outboard industry and provides the user with massive bollard pulling power, as well as fast whole shot acceleration.

The L6 Bi turbo engine and the specially designed gearbox of the OXE300 was tested in the laboratory, in DYNO-cell and on water, to withstand the increased torque and power delivered. In early June 2020 the first OXE300 units left the factory to be installed on customers’ boats.

The OXE300 significantly reduces fuel emissions compared to gasoline fueled outboard standards. Based on performance tests, the OXE300 consumes up to 40% less fuel compared to a 300HP gasoline fueled outboard. Carbon dioxide is reduced by more than 35%, carbon monoxide by more than 99%, and combined hydrocarbons and nitrogen oxides by more than 70%. This reduction significantly contributes to a reduced environmental impact. The reduced fuel consumption and increased efficiency also increases the operational range by 60%.

The primary customers for the OXE300 are governmental, transportation, and search and rescue organizations, as well as and other users with high load and speed demands.
